Grandma* Latvia is a national-level competition that highlights the personality, life experience and significant contribution of grandmothers to society.

Its purpose is to promote a respectful attitude toward the older generation by providing a professional environment for self-expression, as well as for sharing experience and creativity.

The organizers of Grandma Latvia hold an official international certificate granting them exclusive rights to select and delegate Latvia’s representative to participate in the international competition Grandma Universe.

At the international level, Latvia may be represented only by the winner of the national Grandma Latvia competition, thereby ensuring lawful, transparent, and official representation of the country on the world stage.
